Biography
After one sub outing in 1989-90, Colin McGill made the full step up from the youth team in time for the following campaign. Indeed, he was handed a starting berth against Basildon United at the start of the 1990-1 campaign. A clear indication of the progress McGill had made, the player clocked up 50 starts in what was his first full season. He moved to rivals Hitchin Town in summer 1991, however; the defender a makeweight in a deal that brought Richard Wilmot to us. He returned in 1993 for a second spell at Boro’.
