Signed from Hertford Town in the summer of 1990 along with a couple of other recruits, Lee Western took up position between the sticks for the first game of the season against Hitchin Town in the Herts Charity Cup. In his only campaign at Broadhall Way, Western clocked up 18 shut-outs.
