We’re told that Lee Burns went by the nickname “Dogsie” for some reason; a forward with electric pace and agility to torment oppo defenders. He came to us during the 1990-1 season, following Paul Fairclough across from Hertford Town and becoming something of a cult hero at Broadhall Way.
