Calum Willock Player Profile

Debut: Droylsden (H, 5-0), 19/01/2008

Striker Calum Willock turned down a new contract at his then club Port Vale in order to join Stevenage in the 2008 January window. The front man saw a fair bit of league action in his career, and demonstrated a strong work ethic when turning out in Boro’ colours under both Peter Taylor and Graham Westley. His goal tally might not be the greatest if stacked up against other Boro’ forwards, but he still produced more than most in his position.

Calum Willock: After Boro’

After Westley’s first season in charge back at Broadhall Way, however, Willock’s first team chances were expected to be further reduced going into the 2009-10 campaign. Despite the loss of Steve Morison, three new attackers signed in summer 2009. This paved the way for Willock’s release, with the striker moving on to Crawley Town in September that year. After the Red Devils, Willock spent some time at Ebbsfleet United, Dover Athletic and Boreham Wood among others.
