Biography
A local player signed from Hitchin Town ahead of the of 1991-2 season, Paul Bowgett was formerly with Baldock Town as their player-manager. Bowgett gained Football League experience with Wimbledon and was captain of the Wealdstone side which won the FA Trophy at Wembley in the 1984-5 season. The tenacious defender captained Boro’ during the 1991-2 campaign, picking up the Players’ Player of the Year gong for his efforts.
