Gary Bambrick joined us in summer 1988; making the short trip down the A1(M) from Letchworth Garden City to take his position at full back. The pacy lad made himself a favourite with fans pretty much from the off too; picking up the Player of the Year gong after just one season with us. Not bad, huh?
