Robbie Sinclair Player Profile
Debut: Macclesfield Town (H, 2-2), 07/08/2010
Robbie Sinclair was signed by Graham Westley ahead of the 2010/1 season after impressing for Salisbury City during the previous season. Having started his career as a youth team player at Luton Town – a Football League club at the time, he was sent on short term loan to the Wiltshire club.
He signed on a permanent basis at Salisbury City in July 2008 and became known for his attacking play. Sinclair is versatile midfielder and is comfortable playing in any position across the middle; a trait which Graham Westley is well known admirer of and proved to be a valuable asset for Stevenage.
Part of the team that won promotion to League One in 2010/1, Sinclair will forever be associated with one of Boro’s most remarkable periods in its history; certainly by the fans. It was also a time that signalled the latest upward move in his flourishing football career.
