Drew Noble signed for Boro’ in 1979; one of many players the club brought in as it gained a first taste of senior football. At the time, we hadn’t (as a club) been accepted into a senior competition befitting our status. That would come a year later, with the forward remaining with the club into that 1980-1 campaign.
