Travel Information

Distance (By Road):

197 miles

Car Route
By Road:

The route to Southport demands that drivers take the M1 northbound, followed by the M6. It doesn't matter if you choose to take the M6 Toll past Birmingham or the A50 to Stoke. Once on the M6, continue north to junction 26, which will take you onto the M58.

At Junction 3, exit onto the A570 passing Skelmersdale and Ormskirk. Once you enter the Kew district of Southport, take the third exit at a roundabout to take you onto Scarisbrick New Road. On the right will be the ground.

AA Route Planner | Highways Agency

Where To Park?:

The club has no car park for fans, so you must find on street parking in the surrounding areas, although there are some restrictions in force.

Train Route
By Train:

The ground is about a mile away from the main station. Leave the station onto Chapel Street, which runs along the back of the station. Turn left into Tulketh Street, and follow this around past a car park, and it should bring you out onto the A570 Eastbank Street. Turn left onto Eastbank Street and keep walking along this road as you will eventually reach the ground.

If you get off at Meols Cop station, turn left into Hawthorne Grove, and then left again into Bishpam Road. As the railway passes under a four-way junction, turn left yet again so you are heading down Norwood Road. As you pass Peel Street and Crowland Road to your left, Haig Avenue should almost immediately be on the right.
