Biography
Tony Joyce signed for the club in the summer of 1993 from Leighton Town after a spell at Woking, having also turned out for QPR, Aldershot and St Albans. At Boro’, his consistency and popularity earned him the Supporters’ Player of the Year award in his first season. After falling out of favour, he left the club in October 1995 to join Boreham Wood. Later, he’d go onto enjoy spells at Aylesbury United, Bedford Town and Hemel Hempstead Town; the former being a club that Joyce later took charge of as boss.
