Biography
One of the many players over the years to enjoy two spells with us, Steve Cox made his first appearances in a Boro’ shirt on loan from Hertfordshire neighbours Barnet in 1987-8. He was held in such high regard, however, that he was secured on a permanent basis a few years later. That said, it has been noted that his quality as a player was tempered by his less-than-ideal disciplinary record.
