After coming to us from Royston Town, defender Dave Cooper settled into life here quickly – winning two 1986-7 Player of the Year accolades. Not only did his colleagues appreciate his efforts, but fans did too. As well as his eight years at Royston, Cooper had a spell at Arsenal before his time at Broadhall Way. After us, he moved onto Saffron Walden Town.
