Charlie Adams Player Profile
Debut: Accrington Stanley (H, 2-1), 18/10/2014
Drafted in on loan by manager Graham Westley at the same time as fellow Brentford colleague Josh Clarke, Charlie Adams gave Boro’ yet another option in the midfield area and brought an added level of creativity to a team for whom the goals weren’t exactly flying in for at the time.
After joining the ranks at Griffin Park in 2010, first team football had been hard to come by at the west London outfit and went out on loan to Barnet.
With his temporary stay at Stevenage, Adams had the chance to shine at a higher level than the Bees (the non-league ones) and instantly made that case on debut against Accrington Stanley.
After his time at Boro’, Adams went Stateside to play for Louisville City – but he was back at the Lamex in March 2016, signing a short-term deal and becoming the latest addition to the club’s lengthy 2015-6 rollcall.
