A creative young midfielder by description, Jack Jebb was one of two loan signings in October 2014 as injuries wrought havoc on our squad; Graham Westley‘s bid to plot a successful League Two campaign taking a big dent. First signed on a one-month deal, Boro’ fans hoped that Jebb’s place on the Arsenal training turf alongside talent such as Mezut Ozil and Santi Carzola had rubbed off; us offering a chance for him to show what he was capable of.
His first stint with Boro’ was disrupted by injury, but GW saw enough in his abilities to bring Jebb back in March 2015 for a second loan spell; the club eyeing the League Two playoffs with real vigour. After that second loan spell ended, Jebb returned to Arsenal again. But he left the Premier League giants that summer. And, in a quirk of fate, Boro’ was his next port of call; a permanent move sealed at the end of the summer 2015 transfer window.
