Jack Jebb Player Profile
Debut: Accrington Stanley (H, 2-1), 18/10/2014
A creative young midfielder by description, Jack Jebb was one of two loan signings announced in October 2014 as injuries wrought havoc on Graham Westley’s plans to mastermind a successful League Two campaign.
Initially signed on a one-month deal, Boro’ fans were hoping that Jebb’s presence on the hallowed Arsenal training turf alongside talent such as Mezut Ozil and Santi Carzola had rubbed off on the young Jebb, with Stevenage offering a chance for the player to show what he was capable of despite his youthful age.
And though his first stint with Boro’ was disrupted by injury, GW was sufficiently taken with his abilities to bring Jebb back in March 2015 for a second loan spell as the Herts club eyed the League Two playoffs with real vigour.
After that second loan spell ended, Jebb returned to Arsenal but was released by the Premier League giants. In a quirk of fate, Boro’ was to be his next port of call with a move sealed at the end of the summer 2015 transfer window.
