Tyrone Berry Player Profile
Debut: Salisbury City (H, 3-1), 08/12/2007
If you want a good example of a journeyman, Tyrone Berry might just be your man – with a long list of clubs to his name before joining us. He started his career as a trainee at Crystal Palace; coming through the ranks and making his first team debut early in 2005. But first team opportunities were hard to come by at Selhurst Park. After loan spells at Notts County and Rushden and Diamonds, he left for Nene Park in a permanent switch.
Peter Taylor signed Berry for us from the Diamonds; looking to replace the skill and guile of Craig Dobson after the winger moved on to MK Dons. Taylor knew about Berry from his own days at Palace; the winger going on to make 13 appearances for us and scoring two goals. He made his debut against Salisbury in December 2007, although Berry left on a free at the end of the season.
Since leaving Broadhall Way, Berry had spells at various clubs – but he’s struggled to settle anywhere.
