Lee Farrow is a young goalkeeper who broke into the first-team in early 2005; filling the void left after Andy Woodman ended his time with us. The early signs were positive too; Farrow showing few signs of nerves and his inexperience barely visible as he made his debut as a sub against York City. Rob Burch was the man brought in after we let Woody go, but injury forced him off against the Minstermen and Farrow was ready and waiting.
Farrow played three more times as our stand-in number one; winning two, but losing the third as our inexperienced side lost 4-2 to Woking in the Conference Cup. Yet, for all the early promise, that’s all we’d ever see of Farrow in first-team action. He finished 2004-5 with 15 unused sub appearances. But he only returned to the first-team squad one more time during the 2005-6 campaign. And, in summer 2006, we allowed him to leave.
Lee Farrow: After Boro’
In the first half of the 2004-5 season, Farrow did actually spend some time out on loan at Oxford City – before we called him back. And that’d be the first club he’d join after leaving us. But it appears he moved around a bit after that point; spells at Didcot Town, Abingdon United and North Leigh coming in the space of 12-18 months. Most of his career after us was spent in Oxfordshire from what we can tell; last seen at Easington Sports.
Unless you know something we don’t.
