Biography
After impressing in pre-season action, defender Nicky Chilvers had to wait until the fourth game of the 1989-90 campaign to make his debut. It came against Clapton, but the player couldn’t stop us from going down to defeat in east London. As a pal of Gary Williams, the defender chose to sign for us after Bournemouth released him in summer 1989. He didn’t stick around long, however. Midway through his debut season with us, he moved to Vauxhall Motors (Luton).
