Martin Murray came to Boro’ with no shortage of experience in non-league football – but couldn’t save us from relegation in 1988. Before he arrived at Broadhall Way, Murray saw action at Cambridge City and Saffron Walden Town. So valuable was his experience that he took up post as assistant during John Bailey‘s time as boss.
