Steve Shea Player Profile
Debut: Wembley (H, 0-1), 27/12/1986
If there’s one thing you can’t say about Steve Shea, it’s that he lacked football experience; both in England and while abroad with Feyenoord. After starting at Everton, he signed for Boro’ during the 1986-7 campaign and remained with us into the early stages of the 1987-8 season. The defender also turned out locally for Hitchin Town (twice), Chesham United and Harlow Town among many others. More recently, Shea moved into scouting at some big names up the League ladder; Coventry, QPR, Hull and Leicester City if you wanted names.
