It's time to crunch the figures as we dig out Boro's year in numbers for 2017

Our pitiful budget and – let’s be blunt – our laziness means this is the closest we’ll come to staging an End of Year Bash. You can be sure of two things as the curtain comes down on the latest calendar year. First, a black and white montage of the year’s dearly (and famous) departed set to some classical music. Second, the rabid need from any half-decent meeja outlet going (oh, and Buzzfeed) to post tenuous lists or reviews of literally anything from the last 12 months. In that spirit, here’s Boro’s Year In Numbers for you to gorge festively on.

The Year In Numbers

1 – the number of goals scored by Doncaster to get 2017 off to a losing start for Boro’

– the number of goals scored by Crawley to end 2017 on a losing note for Boro’

– more appearances until Ronnie makes PW fork out on rewriting the Boro’ history books
