Cameron Lancaster joined the squad shortly before the 2014 summer window closed; the striker thrust straight into the starting line-up at AFC Wimbledon. In fact, Lancaster had been on trial with us that summer after he leaving Tottenham Hotspur on a free; a club for whom he made one appearance. The player had spent some time on loan at Dagenham & Redbridge, but didn’t exactly have much first team action to write home about.
