Chuks Aneke

Date of Birth: 03-07-1993

Place of Birth: London

Chuks Aneke became the second Arsenal prospect to join us on loan in November 2011, following the capture of winger Luke Freeman. Aneke came to the Boro’ on an initial two-month basis and, like Freeman, caught the attention of gaffer Graham Westley; scoring a decisive goal for a Gunners’ XI in a pre-season game at the Lamex Stadium too. And the lad certainly came well-regarded.

The attacking midfielder first joined Arsenal ranks at the age of seven, and turned pro at the Emirates Stadium in 2010. In addition to one first team outing for the Gunners in a Carling Cup match against Shrewsbury Town in 2011, Aneke had represented England in four age groups at the time of moving to Boro’.
