Iyseden Christie joined Stevenage Borough in summer 2008 from Kidderminster Harriers; one of many strikers that came to us at that time. Arriving on a free transfer, he came well experienced at Blue Square Premier level; renowned for knowing where the goal was too. In his career, he experienced League football and Graham Westley looked to him when a goal was required.
It didn’t turn out so well for him, however. After two starts and a sub outing, Christie joined Kettering Town on a loan deal before the transfer window shut in August 2008. With Steve Morison continuing his goal-scoring form, Christie’s chances were limited. Other strikers on our books were also staking strong claims to start; a move away for Christie, therefore, becoming inevitable.
