Biography
A triallist who made enough of an impression on Mark Stimson to earn a two-year deal, Hector Mackie arrived as a promising 18-year-old striker. He’d also trialled at Tottenham, West Brom and Reading before coming to Broadhall Way. Without playing for the first team, however, Mackie left in 2007. Stimson obviously saw he wasn’t making enough progress to establish himself in the Boro’ midfield.
