Stuart Cash is the ex-Nottingham Forest defender who offered a wealth of experience to Boro’, before taking up a job nearer his home in Reading. With it, the defender made the move to Chertsey Town; Paul Fairclough revealing in his programme notes in November 1994 that he didn’t believe any other club could match the offer he’d received.
