Later called Tokyngton Manor, Ruislip Manor had a few bumpy seasons before folding at the start of the 2013-4 season. For some, the end came in 2008 when off-field issues led to the loss of their ground. The club’s debts were taken on by a knight in shining armour, which led to the Tokyngton name change. The problems didn’t go away, however. After a concern over the safety of the ground, they got banned from the Spartan South Midlands League for a season; rejoining for the 2011-2 campaign.
After skipping the season after that, Manor moved back to the Middlesex County League – before folding. It does seem, however, that a ‘new’ club is now in place to revive the story.
