One for more senior members of Stevenage’s football community, Luther Blissett was a goal machine; raised in the town after moving to the country from Jamaica. Capped 14 times for England and playing for the likes of Watford, AC Milan, and Bournemouth, Blissett started out at Watford’s academy before progressing to the Hornets’ first team and not looking back from there. His finest moment was undoubtedly when he became the first black player to score a hat-trick for England. Meanwhile, signing for such a prestigious club like AC Milan is another remarkable feat.
