Neil Fairbairn is a young stopper who signed for us on a short-term basis from Wimbledon in October 1993 as cover for the injured Des Gallagher. He made a decent first impression on his debut for our reserves, before lining up for the first team against Saffron Walden. In all, Fairbairn turned out for us four times before returning to his parent club.
