After spending most of his career up at Royston Town, striker Geoff Mills ‘enjoyed’ a brief spell with Boro’ in 1988. It was a mixed bag for the player; starting off with a 5-1 thrashing at Hampton & Richmond. In fact, his three games for us yielded two defeats in the league against the Beavers and a win in the Knights Floodlit League; ironically, against his former side. His contribution was limited, however, and did little to help our survival cause.
