Biography
As Boro’ went senior in summer 1979, Brian Carter was part of our inaugural squad. But his time here came to an abrupt end. In Easter 1980, the player was one of three to be sacked by the club. “Serious breaches of… discipline” on an away-day to Germany is the reason given by then-chairman George Clarke.
