Biography

Junior Mendes signed on loan for Stevenage Borough from League Two side Aldershot Town towards the end of the 2008-9 campaign. The aim was to provide attacking cover;  Boro’ in the process of pushing for the playoffs at the time. Arriving on deadline day, the winger brought with him plenty of experience in the lower leagues. Mendes had also experienced life in Scottish football before his arrival in Hertfordshire. The deal with us was not made permanent, however, and he left after the season came to a close.
