Isaiah Rankin Player Profile
Debut: Cambridge United (A, 1-2), 09/02/2008
Isaiah Rankin is the hugely experienced striker who joined Stevenage Borough at the last possible moment of the January 2008 transfer window. The striker made the switch from Grimsby Town; a club at which he’d fallen out of favour. Rankin also lists Premier League sides Arsenal, Bolton and Birmingham among his former clubs too. But things didn’t quite work out here and he left the club at the end of the 2007-8 campaign.
It didn’t come as a shock. The player wasn’t in the plans of new manager Graham Westley and hadn’t shown any real promise in the few games he played here.
