Shaun Batt Player Profile
Debut: Crawley Town (H, 2-1), 21/03/2005
After impressing in both the youth and reserve teams, the EFCO graduate was eventually rewarded with a break in the first team by manager Graham Westley. Shaun Batt’s combination of pace and strength stood him in good stead in the early part of his career, but a plethora of loan spells only paved the way for a move elsewhere in 2007.
Learning his trade below the Conference seemed to work though, as he was one of a number of non-league players to be snapped up by Peterborough United in 2008, before continuing his ascent through the pyramid with a move to Millwall in 2010.
