Rob Burch is the keeper drafted in on loan from Tottenham Hotspur at the start of the 2004-5 season; injuries taking their toll on our squad. He’d actually enjoy two spells with us; first team opportunities very much at a premium at White Hart Lane. But, then, you might expect it given the situation. But it was for that reason that, after returning to Spurs and coming back for two more loan spells after us, he moved on.
Rob Burch: After Boro’
Since leaving Broadhall Way, Burch went onto play for Sheffield Wednesday, Lincoln City and Notts County. A player who had evident talent, you did feel that the Football League was the minimum standard of football at which Burch should be playing at. After leaving Notts County on a free transfer in 2012, the player moved into coaching; joining the staff at Fulham in 2019 after time coaching with Spurs and the FA.
