Biography
Dominic Gentle came to us in the latter stages of the 1996-7 campaign; tasked with helping us keep hold of our Conference title. It didn’t pan out, however. In 10 games, Gentle didn’t manage to score. Not that it’s a particularly significant fact. We won all but two of the games he featured in. Of course, one of those was an infamous home defeat to Macclesfield Town; the Silkmen going on to win the title.
