Paul Hobbs made such an impression in a match against us for Berkhamsted Town in late 1993 that we made a move to sign him. He ended up turning out a handful of times for our first team in the second half of the 1993-4 campaign. Yet, he couldn’t quite secure his spot in the team and played his final game for us in March 1994.
