Biography
It can’t be easy to sign for any team that are new to the senior game – but Gary Felstead did just that in summer 1979. As Boro’ stepped up to a new level for the first time, the stopper came to us from Pirton. It’s even more of a leap as you look back and realise that we’d still not found a “proper” competition to play in. Sadly, Felstead didn’t stick around to turn out for us in such a competition. We went into the 1980-1 United Counties League campaign with no sign of him about.
