Hugh Pratt arrived at Stevenage Borough in summer 1979; one of a raft of new senior players to help Boro’ take it up a gear. For whatever reason, however, we wouldn’t see Pratt during the 1980-1 campaign. It wouldn’t be until one season after he played for us that we’d find a senior competition to play in.
