Statpack: Boro’ Match Stats (03 April 2026)

By Pete H

Here’s your latest statpack; the latest stats, numbers, and milestones fresh off the press after the latest Stevenage game day. We used to do this on Twitter or X or whatever it’s called now. And we’d syndicate it across Bluesky too. But we thought “meh, let’s drive some more people to the site”. That’s the hope and, well, we like to think there’s usually something for everyone once the dust has settled on the latest Boro’ escapade.

Statpack: Rotherham United 0-0 Stevenage – 03 April 2026

Boro’ are still yet to win away to the Millers. Today was our fifth visit and a 1-1 draw there in October 2010 is still our best return. It is, however, the first time we’ve kept a clean sheet at their place. Which is something?

2️⃣2️⃣
Two wins in nine encounters with the Millers means our win rate sits at 22.2222222222%. We don’t think we’re exaggerating the decimal points.

6️⃣
For the sixth time in a row, Boro’ have failed to win on 3 April. It’s our second straight draw on this date (2010), which follows a run of three successive defeats. To be fair, it’s not really been a great date for us. We’ve won just once in nine outings on this date; a 3-2 win away to Marlow in 1993.

2️⃣
Boro’ are now unbeaten in two on Carl Brook’s watch, not that we have a brilliant record. In 10, we’ve won four and lost five – adding in today’s draw. Still, it could be worse.

At This Stage Rankings (Out Of 40)

We’re now only comparing against 40 seasons here. the 1980-81 season ended at 32 fixtures, while the 1982-83 campaign ended after 34. Also now falling by the wayside at the 36-game mark are 1981-82, 1983-84, and 2019-20. One of them wasn’t meant to, but – y’know – cough.

1985-86 has also fallen by the wayside.

1️⃣8️⃣ | 61 points from a possible 117 (level with 1994-95 and 1998-99)
3️⃣5️⃣ | 41 goals for
0️⃣9️⃣ | 38 goals against (level with 1993-94)
1️⃣8️⃣ | 17 wins from 39 games (level with 1992-93 and 2023-24)

Statpack will return… after the next game.
