Ryan Schmid was part of a highly-regarded youth team during his four years here. He didn’t end up making the step up to the first team, however. The young stopper found senior experience by going out on work experience loan. Yet, the Boro’ first team was maybe a step too far. In summer 2019, the player moved to Kings Langley to start the promising next stage in his early career; time more than on his side to develop further.
