Martyn Margarson Player Profile

Debut: No debut

Last Updated: 17 December 2019

Nabbed by Rushden & Diamonds in August 2004, Martyn Margarson joined the Diamonds as a highly rated stopper who had impressed in county trials. After working his way up to reserve level, he went out on loan for a couple of stints to build up first team experience. But his time at Nene Park ended in 2008 with a switch to Boston United. There were also spells at Radcliffe Borough and Louth.

Margarson made Stevenage’s squad for our League Two clash at Northampton Town in April 2011. We’re not sure why or even how he came to be on our books. But it wouldn’t be the first time someone came in and left without making a mark.
