Baroan Tagro made a fleeting cameo from the subs bench in early 2002 – but left Boro’ just as soon as he came in. Brought in by Paul Fairclough, his ‘audition’ in our midfield couldn’t have come at a worse time; Boro’ humbled 4-1 at home by arch-rivals Woking. Mind you, we can’t exactly pin the defeat on the French-Ivorian midfielder. He came on with 25 minutes left on the clock and the damage had already been done.
Baroan Tagro: After Boro’
There’s not a lot of info out there, to be fair. From Broadhall Way, the midfielder spent a wedge of time at Carshalton Athletic. After his release from the club in 2003, Tagro then moved north of the border and played a handful of times for Raith Rovers. His time with them lasted six months; a change in manager not playing out well for him. Scotland now done with, Tagro returned to France. He was last seen, it seems, as Noisiel head coach.
Of course, that’s how Wikipedia puts it. Interestingly enough, his profile there also has a link to a page called Raith Rovers’ Worst XI. We didn’t see enough of him to judge…
