Having met both Hayes and Yeading before, our first meeting with the merged Hayes & Yeading United came in the 2009-10 Blue Square Premier season. Since we last came up against them, the club left its old Church Road ground for the newer SkyEX Community Stadium in 2016 at the start of the 2016-7 season.

Hayes & Yeading United Travel Information – Distance: 41 miles
By Road
After moving into new digs at Beaconsfield Road, we’re heading for Hayes here. Take the anti-clockwise M25 around to Junction 16; joining the London-bound M40. Keep on the A40 when the motorway ends; continuing along for a further four miles or so. Here, exit onto the A4180 slip road.
Take the third exit at the roundabout and drive for a mile or so to the next roundabout. Here, take the first exit onto the A312 Parkway. From this, come off at the A4020 exit for Ealing and Hayes among other luscious holiday destinations. Take the first exit onto the A4020 Uxbridge Road. Just 0.2 miles later, turn right onto Springfield Road for 0.4 miles. Then, turn left onto Beaconsfield Road; the ground being just along here.
We’re unsure about the parking onsite. There appears to be a car park there, but we’re not able to tell you what to do if it’s full just yet.
By Rail
Station: HAYES & HARLINGTON
Services to: LONDON PADDINGTON
At 1.7 miles, the walk from the station will be more than half an hour. Come out of the station on Station Approach and turn right onto the northbound Station Road. Coming up the road into what feels like the centre of Hayes, bear right at the roundabout onto Botwell Lane – and then go straight on for Coldharbour Lane.
After nearly half a mile, take a right onto Avondale Drive; turning left shortly afterwards for Hitherbroom Road. Turn right onto what should be a Public Footpath behind a school. Cross over Abbotswood Way and keep on this path; going under The Parkway in the process. Follow the path around to the left so that you come past Goals Soccer Centre. Go straight across and the ground will be down here.
