Unless something a bit weird happened, this Ashfield club are not the same you’ll currently catch doing their thing in Scotland. Nope; this is a team we believe could be found in Bedfordshire somewhere back in the day. Our reason for thinking that? Well, they were opponents of Boro’s B side in the 1978-9 Chiltern Youth League 14/18 Section campaign.
