Sam Ayolie 38

Biography

A lad with talent of which there is no doubt, Sam Ayolie came into the Stevenage fold as a first-year scholar ahead of the 2025-26 campaign. It came after a successful trial in which the young forward logged a reported eight goals in 10 fixtures. Of course, there is a long path from academy to first team and many before him attempted it. That said, the regard in which Ayolie had at the club is perhaps shown by the fact he earned a debut in our Football League Trophy tie with Leicester City in October 2026. It’s also worth noting that, at the time, he had been out on loan at St Albans City to earn his stripes in senior football.
