Who Are... Droylsden FC?
A fleeting glimpse at Droylsden FC was all that Stevenage Borough fans were able to get during the Bloods' brief stay in the Blue Square Premier in 2007/8. It was a profitable acquiantance for Boro', with eight goals racked up across the two games without reply; the first being a 3-0 away victory having been reduced to ten men. The club has now returned to Blue Square North, and has previously witnessed the misfortune of being ejected from two competitions during their best respective run.

In the 2008/9 campaign, an FA Third Round appearance having disposed of Chesterfield was snatched away due to an ineligible player being fielded, while Rossendale benefited from the same error in the 1989/90 FA Vase. A return to the top of the non-league tree was beyond them in 2010 though, finishing 5th in Blue Square North.
