House of Boro’: Episode 1 – Mark Roberts

The first interview in a brand-new series is with a man who needs little introduction. Mark Roberts first came to us on loan from Northwich Victoria. But that signing was soon made permanent; Robbo crowned captain by boss Graham Westley and leading us from the front. Under his skippership, Boro’ rose from the Conference to the top of League One. And he is still unbeaten across two spells as caretaker manager too. What a hero!

Listen in. Enjoy.

BoroGuide runs the show around here, and has done since that glorious summer of 2002. We're not sure why it was so glorious; maybe it's the delirum of reliving David Seaman watching Ronald Eeeeenyo's lob drift over him. That and Boro' reaching the FAT final at Villa Park – not Wembley.
