BORO' CAREER:
|
Debut: vs Droylsden (H), 19/01/2008
Striker Calum Willock turned down a new contract at his then club Port Vale in order to join Stevenage in the January window 2008. The front man saw a fair bit of league experience in his career, and demonstrated a strong work ethic when turning out in Boro' colours under both Peter Taylor and Graham Westley.
However, following Graham Westley's first season in charge back at Broadhall Way, Willock's first team opportunities were expected to be further reduced in the 2009/10 campaign despite the loss of Steve Morison, and the influx of three new attackers in the summer of 2009 paved the way for Willock's release.
