Boro' Debut:
With the injuries mounting for Graham Westley as Boro' entered 2004, and only having one centre back available for the trip to high-flying Hereford United, the Boro' manager moved to bring in Sean St. Ledger on loan from Peterborough United, having featured in a pre-season match between the two sides.
Barry Fry felt comfortable to allow the 20 year old defender out on a short-term loan to the Broadhall Way side, with the defender only featuring twice as a substitute for Posh during the 2003/04 season. It would be nice to claim that Boro' afforded the stage that led St Ledger to push on to greater prominence with Preston North End and the Republic of Ireland, but alas no credit where credit is not due - the defender didn't feature for Boro' in a first team fixture.
