Debut: vs Kingstonian (H), 13/02/1999
It was certainly a memorable Stevenage Borough debut for Brian Statham after being brought in by manager Richard Hill in 1999 - the experienced defender seeing red for a deliberate handball against Kingstonian in a 3-3 draw.
With a great deal of Football League mileage behind him, Hill brought Statham to the club to provide some much needed know-how at the back but played just three games before his spell came to an end. Statham has since moved into management.
